Adding events before user sort and after user sort

Jun 20, 2012 at 6:51 PM

I wanted to trap the event, when a user clicks on a column header.

I know that I can trap the Mouse Click event, but is it possible to:

1. Trap an event in response to a user clicking on a column header before any sorting action?

2. Trap an event in response to a user clicking on a column header after the sorting action?

Is it possible in the before user sort event, if that is possible, to turn off (temporarily) sorting and instead handle the sort on my own?  If so, how?

I assume that any code would be to add an event handler manually similar to the following, not that the following works (separately posted thread):

this.ctlTable.Selection.CellLostFocus += new SourceGrid.ChangeActivePositionEventHandler(Selection_CellLostFocus);

Thanks,

Sarah

Hi.

You can work with the SortingRangeRows and the SortedRangeRows events for the before and after sorting.
