Grid Sorting

Mar 7, 2011 at 9:12 PM

I initialize a real grid to 2000 rows and 14 columns.

Data is then loaded into the grid based on several factors.  The grid could have no active rows (those populated with data) or 2000 or more (as I extend the grid depending on the data received).

So far so good.  However, if I click a column header to sort the grid, it sorts all rows not just those that are populated.  I have the number of populated rows.

Is there some way to limit the sort to the number of populated rows?

Header cell is actually calling sort for all rows. You could override that and sort only the portion of the rows that you want to

Thanks for your response.  I set auto grid sorting to none and fire off a sort range when the mouse is down in row 0.  That part works great, but I don't get the ascending/descending icons.  Got any suggestions?

I solved this by adding my own ascending/descending icons.
