Edit cell works only when EnableMultiSelection set to True

Jan 15, 2011 at 3:39 PM

I have a question.

I tried to edit cell by double clicking on it in Sample 9. Everything was ok when EnableMultiSelection was True.
When I changed it to False I could not edit any cell!

Is it by design? I want to edit cells in a grid with only one row selected. Is it possible?

I have the same behaviour!

I think is a bug.

Indeed, if you have a Numeric Up Down (or any editable control) in the cell, and the EditMode include Focus, when you give Focus to that specific Cell, a StackOverflow error occurs.

Tracing it down is very hard. It seems that the BeginEdit event raises Focus event, and Focus event raises BeginEdit and go on.

When you keep EditMode without Focus Mode, and you use EnableMultiSelection to False, it works (obviously this is not a workaround).

Any help apreciated

I've discovered one more strange behaviour. If the SelectionMode = Cell and EnableMultiSelection = True, everything works ok.

I think there is a problem when SelectionMode != Cell and EnableMultiSelection = True at the BeginEdit method.
