Documentation links all dead

Jul 24, 2010 at 3:35 AM

Hi

I just want to point out that all the documentation links are dead, including:

http://www.sourcegrid.com.ar/docs/SourceGrid_EN.html
http://sourcegrid.com.ar/docs/html/Index.html
http://www.sourcegrid.com.ar/docs/APIReference.chm
http://www.devage.com/

I know that the most up-to-date documentations are in the source code archive, but it would be nice if the homepage can be fixed up a little to save new visitor's time.

Bryan is already looking at his (for sourcegrid.com.ar)

Devage.com will not be available, since the original owner of the server can not be contacted

Cool thanks. Just want to point out that SourceGrid.Examples.StartForm.cs, Line 204 is missing a closing double quote. :P

everything is fine there. here is that line, and no missing quotes: SourceGrid.Cells.ColumnHeader header1 = new SourceGrid.Cells.ColumnHeader("Sample N°");

hmm..  I am not sure what to do next.

Bryan is hosting http://www.sourcegrid.com.ar/ domain, but apparently it does not work.

It is obvious - take a docs, put them into a source pack.

Never thought of that. Actually, most of the times i read source code, and thus i always download documentation together with source code.

Yes, but it will be useful for people who only needs documented API.

Also i think it will be useful to put docs with the compiled version.

Hiya

I think it is a document encoding problem. From my IDE I can only see ? instead of °". I have the fresh 4.30 source code.

Otherwise all fine. Thanks for all the work!
