Disabling Automatic Resize of columns

Jun 28, 2010 at 10:21 AM
Hello, I work on an application, which already uses SourceGrid (need to do some fixes in it). One of the issues is that if user resizes one column of a grid, then all other columns are resized automatically to the same size. I've set Columns.AutoSizeMode = SourceGrid.AutoSizeMode.None, but this does not help. What could be the issues with that? How to disable automatic resizing of columns?

very strange :)  What type of grid is used?

The easiest way would be to debug yourself. Download SourceGrid sources, compile, then use your compiled version with pdb files. This way you will be able to step in SourceGrid code, then see why all columns are resized.   I expect it might be simply because the program is using array grid, and as  far as i remember, it is built so that all columns are sized equally :) otherwise, there might be some code (in your app) which does make sizes equal
